NM+4. It is four days past the New Moon now in the lunar cycle. Take time to view the crescent moon in the early evening sky.
NM+4 Moon phase and Emotions
Allow for a sense of still waiting to start a new project if you haven’t got something already, and let that be okay.
Don’t be hard on yourself. Know that you are exactly where you need to be in the cycle.
There may be a feeling of tension as some people, including you, are possibly undergoing an inner struggle about what they think and what they want to do.
NM+4 Moon phase and Mind
Let’s take an imaginary ride to the horse racing track. Have you ever been to one? There is a little secret there that I will share with you in a minute.
I had a chance to work at a race track some years ago. I knew it would be exciting and made a pact with myself that I would work there as long as I would never place a bet. Pretty incredible, I know, but it worked out very well.
The horses were wondrous to watch, with rippling muscles and shiny coats, waiting for a chance to unleash all of that power in a good run. The pulse of the whole place changed exactly eight times each day, once for every race.
After a short quiet time at the finish of a race, the tension would start to build again for the next one. The lines at the betting windows filled up again, the professionals picked up the pace of conversation with their racing papers and endless cups of coffee (or beer). The horses walked out of the paddock and the announcer called out their names: “Sky’s the Limit,” “Street Smart,” “Black Stallion,” “Going Wild.”
The jockeys carefully maneuvered the horses over to the starting gate. Some of them went quietly and others reared up, whinnied and snorted. It was controlled mayhem. Somehow they all got into the gate.
Here’s the secret: if you want to understand what this “New Moon” week means, go to a race track.
Getting ready and loading in to the gate is what it is all about. The race can’t start until everything is ready.
NM+4 Moon phase and Work
For ongoing projects or one you have started recently, be prepared to address outside activities that start to interfere. Decide your priority!
This is the time you have been waiting for, the time to dig in and do what you have always planned to do.
Embrace the idea that your endeavor is a work in progress and will be completed in the correct time. It’s okay to be in the middle of it.
Just for today, act like the person that you have always wanted to be.
